The City Clerk is the Chief Elections Officer of the City and conducts all city elections.
Date of Elections
City elections are always held on the first Tuesday in April.

In Seat 4 District 27 only one candidate qualified, Al Goldstein, who is automatically elected.
There will also be a referendum on the ballot Proposing that the terms of office for the commission members and mayor be increased from two years to three years, beginning with commission seats two and four for the 2019 municipal election; for commission seats three and five for the 2020 municipal election; and for the mayor with the 2021 municipal election.

To register to vote or to sign up to Vote By Mail contact the Supervisor of Elections. Last Day to register to vote is March 4, 2019.
All registered voters residing in the city will vote for City Commission, Mayor, and local issues at these locations regardless of where they vote in county, state, or national elections.
